It's Inveraray Games Day on Tuesday!! 💃🏻🥂

And woweee are we excited for a day in the sunshine!

But not before we fuel you for the big day - open 9.30-11am to provide you with a healthy start to the day!

Gourmet Rolls, Bagels, Fruit Bowls, Caffeine and Mimosa's served up just in time to catch the Pipe Band Parade!

Costa del.... Crinan? ☀️

Just being a wee tourist for the afternoon is such a delight when the weather is like this! Sunbathing and swimming isn't really something that springs to mind when you say 'west coast of Scotland' but my gosh where in the world would you rather be when summer hits!

We had a lovely evening of bookclub tonight and will be back tomorrow with a much more cold food based menu, before the temperature drops again and we can get back to normal in the kitchen!

Next weekend brings our brand new tasting menu (keep your eyes peeled for a very exciting competition) but we will have our usual ala-carte dinners this weekend as we plan our next delicious menu!

We hope to see you all for spritz's and seafood over the coming days 🙌🏻✨

Oh heatwave eve 🌊

After weeks and weeks of rain, as I walk Alfie in a puffa jacket and winter hat tonight, we wait with bated breath for sunshine and warmth!

Don't get me wrong, the moody Scottish scenery I am so blessed to live in is mystifying and romantic, but sometimes, I just wanna not have to take an umbrella out in July...

Back tomorrow with summer spritz's and loch fyne seafood, and cracking out the outdoor furniture without worrying it will blow away!! Who's coming to celebrate?

So it's my one week anniversary of feeling like the Duke of Wellington 🐴

Fun fact, we did a full shift not knowing the cone was on the building. In fairness, we do come in via the back door, and it was raining, so it wasn't until I was walking Alfie that evening that I saw it. I sent it round the team and the response?... that I had super imposed the cone 😂 such little faith.

My case wasn't helped by the fact it was gone by the time we opened up the next morning, but I SWEAR there was a phantom cone decorator working through the last Scotland match. Did anyone else see this? Did I hallucinate it? Was I dreaming? Who got up there? Who brought it down? So many questions, so few answers.

In other news, remember it's Tapas night tomorrow! We have Build - your - own Wine flights and some wonderful dishes for a dinner of dreams. (Free tapas to anyone who has information in regards to Cone-Gate) tables left to book at 6, 6.30 and 7.45

No filter needed for this blissful blue sky we had on Sunday! And rumour has it tomorrow is set to bring back some of this luscious weather for us to enjoy this week!
