We don’t just serve wine… we go and find it……
Every year, we travel to Lake Garda, where Gropello grapes grow in the gentle, lake cooled vineyards along the western shores. The microclimate here brings soft breezes, mineral rich soils alongside long sunny days which gives the wines their freshness, elegance, and unmistakable character.
For over 10 years, we’ve been importing wines like these directly for our restaurant in Stockbridge, wines you can enjoy by the glass, in a carafe, or even take home to savour later.
Our latest arrival?
A beautiful Chiaretto from Marsadri, a delicate Chiaretto which is crafted from Barbera, Marzemino, Sangiovese & Gropello.
On the nose, it’s bright and expressive so think of wild strawberries, fresh cherries, a hint of rose petal and a subtle citrus lift.
On the palate, it’s crisp, dry and refreshing perfect for:
* light pasta dishes
* grilled fish or seafood
* antipasti and charcuterie
* or simply a sunny afternoon
A true taste of Lake Garda, poured right here in Stockbridge……
