We gave farming families 2,000 avocado seedlings to combat child labour.🌱

Through our Child Labour Committee in Mizan, we’re helping farmers diversify their income. Relying on a single crop creates vulnerability, which is where child labour risk grows.

By planting and other fruit trees alongside coffee, farming families can build a stable income over time.

More stability = less financial pressure = a better chance for children to stay in school. This is .

This weekend Moyee officially kicks off the festival season at LenteKabinet. Don't expect a pink FairChain wave. At LenteKabinet, everything is a bit more chill…everything but the 1933 Renault TN café where barista Hans Smit will be pouring FairChain coffee and — it's gonna be hot hot hot — iced coffee and espresso martinis.

"It's all cappuccinos from 13.00 to 15.00, but after that the espresso‑martini machine hits overdrive," says Hans, serving up FairChain at LenteKabinet for the third year in a row.

You can talk about fixing the future with him, but Hans is just as interested in fixing cars.
