Being French by origin, he is passionate about food. He sets himself high standards in delivering to his clients something that they will not only remember, but also rave about in time to come. Catering from the container kitchen in Oneroa or the food truck at festival and function, Nico and his team will bring you that French flair attitude and professionalism. Nico has trained and worked in some

of the most exclusive restaurants in France (including 3-star Michelin Georges Blanc). Since arriving in New Zealand about 25 years ago, Nico has been involved in various restaurants in Christchurch and Auckland. Nico operated his own successful catering service for the last 25 years under the "Urban Escargot" name. He's moved to Waiheke Island in 2011, and has since become part of the local food scene. Island Frenchie provides fresh food made to order for you.

Hi guys,
This is it!
After seven years of running Frenchie, I'm throwing in the towel (and apron!).
Island Frenchie is going on the market later this week, so if anyone ready for a challenge, come chat with me.
Thanks all for the support over the years, I am proud on what we've achieved.
I've met some legends, heard some juicy gossip, and told some ripper yarns, but I'm running on fumes, so it's time to hang up my apron and grab my fishing rod.
In the meantime, it’s business as usual… Almost
