I’m now enjoying a lovely coffee thanks to a few wonderful people who sent through a koha.

It’s weird going from the guy who looked after the people on the streets, and low income people with free coffee, to the guy who’s asking for a couple dollars at a difficult time.

It means a lot more than you know and will go to a good cause.

A customer asked me today why I give away free coffee when my business is struggling.

My short answer is that our initial business success was in particular fuelled by me giving away free coffee.

Our service is good, the coffee is good, and the price is great.

People usually come back after trying a complimentary one, and after that first free one, they’re usually happy to pay.
