Red Rabbit Coffee Co. At our heart, we want to show you how great coffee can taste when passion and dedication come together to create something amazing in a cup.

We aren't about conventional Espresso and roasting methods – that's not what gets us out of bed in the morning. Red Rabbit Coffee Co. is the brain child of Steve Barrett. Moving the Roastery from Wellington's coolest little laneway to Parnell, Auckland in 2016 to a standalone premises to showcase great coffee to enthusiasts, geeks, lovers of taste - whether you just drink coffee or you are thinking about using us in your cafe we are always happy to see you.

Zinabi Guji has been one of our favourites off the shelf, and for good reason. A washed Ethiopian coffee with bright citrus, jasmine and a salted caramel sweetness.

If you’re visiting one of our stores, try it as a filter or have it pulled as an espresso. You can always take a bag home too. Espresso roast available on our website for a limited time.

A few things have been happening behind the scenes.

We’re making a few changes around the roastery to help us keep up with more cafes, more home brewers, and a few new things we’ve been working on. Drip bags and pods are on the way, along with a few upgrades that’ll help us keep doing what we do, just a little better.

Every day they dial in coffees, remember your order, have a yarn across the bar and somehow keep things moving when the line’s out the door.

We do our bit by finding and roasting coffees we believe in. They do the hard part by turning those beans into something worth coming back for.

🔁 A lot has changed behind the scenes over the past few months.

From our new home in Airport Oaks, the team has been focused on one thing: making sure every bag leaving the roastery is the best it can be.

More space, more capacity, and a lot of early mornings. From sourcing and roasting to packing and dispatch, there’s a good crew putting in the work every day to keep coffee moving across cafés, shelves, and homes around New Zealand.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but we’re even more excited about what’s ahead.

Thanks for backing a New Zealand owned roastery that’s still obsessed with getting the details right. ☕️
