It is with the heaviest heart that we announce today, is our Restaurant Manager - Sarah’s final shift 💔
Sarah is leaving us to return home to Belgium 🇧🇪
Understandably myself and the entire team are heartbroken to be saying goodbye her and it’s gonna be a hard day for sure as she completes her final shift.
Sarah has been with us since 2019 when she was just 17 years old, she was shy, soft spoken and terrified of answering the phone… oh how you have changed now! We have watched her grow, learn, advance and become such an important asset to our business and our team aswell as a close friend.
Sarah took on the responsibilities of being our Quartz Restaurant Manager, a job in which she excelled in, not just the duties that come with it, but most importantly being there for her incredible team which work in the Quartz. She created amazing experiences for our customers, put extra attention to detail in creating memories, and hosted some of our biggest functions in there.
If being the restaurant manager wasn’t enough, Sarah also became a duty manager working in the bar, leading shifts and looking after very important work duties in that role. An all rounder! And yes, she answers the phone now every chance she gets 🤣💕
I have to say, Sarah’s greatest accomplishment here was the forever friendships and relationships she has made with our staff, we are a massive family here, dysfunctional at times, super crazy, lots of laughs, tears, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Sarah, we can not thank you enough for everything positive, beautiful and wonderful that you provided for The Rock and The Quartz, and we appreciate you more then you could ever imagine. The sweetest, kindest most pure soul anyone could ask for 💕 it’s been an honour to watch you grow and progress throughout the years, and I couldn’t be more proud of you and all your accomplishments.
This a huge loss for us, but we are happy for you and your incredible family on this next chapter of your lives (please come home to us soon 😭)
