My selected child is Zhytone Kyle Pabustan, kinder aged 4 his ambition is to be a firefighter half the proceeds will go to this organisation aswell as pink ribbon for breast cancer foundation helping support the women of Aotearoa with resources for their journey and help them to screen and rehabilitate.

We are so excited to be apart of such an amazing event again! Bring on Rumble in Russell 🏉

We have an exciting event coming to Russell on Saturday 27 June and we’d love the community to get behind it.

Rumble in Russell will see the Parliamentary Rugby Team take on the Rugby for Life Invitational Team, bringing some fantastic people and influential visitors into the Bay for the weekend. It’s a great opportunity to showcase everything Russell and the wider Bay of Islands has to offer.

There are lots of ways local businesses and the community can get involved:
• Accommodation providers and local businesses — use the attached flyer across your social media channels, promote your accommodation availability, or create special offers and dining experiences for the weekend.
• Cafés, restaurants and bars — this is a great chance to put on weekend specials, showcase local hospitality and encourage visitors to stay and explore a little longer.
• Community — come along, support the teams, enjoy the atmosphere and be part of the community spirit that Rugby for Life is all about. It’s set to be a fantastic family afternoon out, with activities for the kids, food, entertainment and plenty of sideline energy.

Events like this are about more than just rugby — they bring people together, create vibrancy for the town and give us the opportunity to proudly showcase Russell and the Bay of Islands at its best.
We’d love to see the community rally behind it and help make it a memorable weekend for everyone involved.

🎶 Wednesday – Musical Bingo, 90s Edition
A scandalous evening of nostalgic tunes with Chris C.K. Kurien

🎤 Thursday – Karaoke from 8:30pm ‘til late
For those wishing to debut their vocal talents before society.

🍻 Friday’s Affairs
• Tools Down Friday Draw — calling cards submitted by 4pm, winner announced at 4:30pm for a $50 voucher
• Meat Raffles — tickets available from 4:30pm, drawn promptly at 5pm
