‼️WARNING: another sappy post‼️
Another bittersweet goodbye and huge congratulations to our amazing Kirstyn as she's been promoted to the AGM of our Ankeny location! She has been with Ames BTH since 2022 and moved her way from server to trainer, bartender, assistant managing, and now AGM!
Kirstyn is a cleaning machine and is always doing a cleaning project or coming up with one which we obviously love to have in the restaurant. She is always willing to help out and train no matter what location she's at! She has been helping us in Ankeny the last couple months, picking up managing & bar shifts and just being an absolute life saver. On top of this, Kirstyn is always striving to provide the best experience for all of our guests that walk through our door!
We asked Kirstyn what she liked about working at BTH in Ames:
"I loved working at Ames Boulder for the experience it gave me. Not only did I work under amazing leadership that taught me how to lead by example and show empathy, but it also made me into the person I am. Throughout the years, I made so many connections with coworkers and customers — learning about different paths and walks of life. Getting to interact with the community of Ames, especially for incoming students and their families, was such a fun and fulfilling experience. I was and always will be so proud to have worked at BTH Ames. I don’t think there will ever be another place I will feel so comfortable to work at and recommend to others, but I hope to create that same environment! Also huge shoutout to our kitchen for being outstanding at their jobs. Knowing that I can trust the BOH staff to make sure there aren’t any allergen concerns, being accommodating without complaint, and just being great people to work with, was such a breath of fresh air. We literally could not do it without them, and they have been such a blessing."
Thank you so much for everything you've done to improve our store, Kirstyn! We will miss you and your positive attitude so much. We love you & will always be here to support you! Congratulations! 💓🎉
