🚨 U P D A T E 🚨

due to the heat, we are unfortunately going to have to cancel our time at the farmers market on broadway. at our lunch today it was over 130° in the truck, and our freezers and coolers just can’t keep up. we don’t want to risk food quality and the safety of our staff with being outside for another 5+ hours in this heat.

we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause 🩶 we hate to cancel events, but we just have to do what’s the safest option tonight! we will be back out there tomorrow — hope to see you then!! ✌🏼

little bit of a lighter week this week! might be good with the hot temps headed our way 🥵 with that in mind, please be patient and kind to our staff during these hot days! it is about 20-30° hotter on the truck than the real feel outside, which makes it quite toasty for us working up there. we appreciate your understanding if we’re not our usual selves and a tad slower!

we also have a giveaway planned soon, so keep your eyes out for that!! 👀

well, we’ve finally recovered from an insane weekend full of fireworks fun! 🎇 thank you to everyone that showed up to support us and showed kindness through the incredibly busy events (plus the heat!!). we appreciate you! 🫶🏼 we took yesterday and today off to celebrate our youngest (emma) in chicago for her 13th birthday! 🥹

well, we made it!! 🥵 it sure was a warm one today. we were out on the truck from 5a - 8:30p, with 3 different events, with only a few breaks (for driving in between 😂) thank you to everyone who showed up, who showed patience and kindness, and offered water to us/checked in on us! 🫶🏼

side note — this is what the temperature was in the truck before we even turned on our flattop or fryer 😅

we have a shorter week this week, as we have a looooot of prep to do for our back to back fireworks events! 🎆

we also know it’s going to be H O T this week, which means in the truck it is going to be 20°+ warmer than it is outside 🥵 please keep that in mind, and be patient with all of us who might be moving a little bit slower up on the food truck!

what a W I L D week it was 😅🤯😵‍💫
we had over 10 events this week (plus a few cancelled because of the weather 😥), and the majority of them were insanely busy! we met a lot of new people & saw a lot of familiar faces. we can’t thank you all enough for the support 🫶🏼

that being said, i have worked 14+ hour days every day since monday 🫠 so i am very behind on responding to emails + messages! if you’re waiting to hear from us, i will be getting caught up by tomorrow night.

thanks again for hanging with us! we wouldn’t be here without you 🩶

happy last day of school to a lot of kiddos! 📚 🥳 excuse me while i’m a bit unwell at the thought of having an 8th grader and senior in high school now!! 😭

with school being out, that means our summer season is in full swing!! here’s where to catch us this week. starting the summer a bit slow, but we really ramp up next week! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

we are also still looking for a few super part time helpers! mainly weeknights from about 4p-9p, or sometime in there. send us dm if you’re interested, or please share with someone who might be!

who doesn’t love a good, extra cheesy grilled cheese?! 🤤

we are switching our bread over to a super delicious, multigrain sourdough that makes the most legit grilled cheese 🧀👌🏼 but we need your help deciding what cheese to put on it! what is your favorite cheese combo for a grilled cheese?!
