In the service industry, it’s easy to get used to the quick goodbyes. Staffing can be about as transient as a bus station, it seems. But every once in a while, someone sticks around. And when the time comes to send ’em off on their next adventure, it’s not so easy. Your eyeballs start getting wet.
After 17 years, Andy, our friend and fixture, is taking flight into his next chapter. Andy’s worn lots of hats here. 49ers hats, Bucks hats, trout unlimited hats…ermm. Hats. Right…Andy started as a bartender in 2009, he brewed his first b**r, in May of 2016 en route to becoming our brewery manager and eventually the entire business’ director of operations.
Since we opened in 2004, we've had a passion for making our food, our b**r, our community, and the lives of the people who eat and drink here a little better. Andy, you've embodied that in every sense and then some. What's that whole "rich because" meme thing going around? Yeah. That.
We'll miss ya, sir. Thanks for the b**rs, the good times, the dedication, and for helping shape this place into what it is today. We’d be unrecognizable if not for all of that. Can we keep the Nut Brown recipe?
