Hello! We are going on our annual Europe trip to visit Jonas's family in Germany. We are also excited to visit Paris while we are there. We will bring back some authentic European inspiration and ideas from this trip to grow Athena and in all the good ways for this summer 🌞

Today was pure magic ✨
It was the best Mother's Day, spending it with some of our favorite businesses in Astoria. I am beyond happy that Armin was born in this beautiful community ❤️

🌸🌷Happy Mother's Day🌷🌸
We are lucky to have mothers who have taught us so much- kindness, compassion, empathy, and love. Our moms, even though continents apart, both have something in common... They are AMAZING cooks! Rose's mom has a certificate in international cuisine and drinks, and Jonas's mom teaches cooking classes to kids in school as part of her teaching career. Both moms have a strong passion for cooking delicious food, and are so very skilled. Rose and Jonas grew up with two exemplary mothers, and even though neither one worked a day in the food industry before opening , they both had the passion rooted in them from a very young age.
Food has always been, and always will be a work of passion for us. And we have our moms to thank for. Thanks to what they have taught us, the key ingredient in anything we make is LOVE. Love for culture, love for our guests, love for our families, and for all that we do 🩵

Today and every day we celebrate our beautiful moms for all that they have taught us ❤️

We send our love and gratitude to all the hard working mothers in our community and around the world.

Speaking of (now known as Little Chef (yes from Ratatouille)) - We can't say enough good things. This sweet lady has been with us since we opened Athena, and we've gone through so much together the last two years 💕 she's a gem, and we are so grateful to have her on the team!
