Deep in the remote highlands of what is now Ethiopia, a lone goatherder discovered coffee back in the 9th century when he noticed his goats dancing after eating a mysterious new fruit. To honor that delightful legend, we picked the name Dancing Goats® when founding our company in 1988. Dancing Goats® expanded from a single coffee bar to a wholesale roaster and coffeehouse that is co-headquartered in Atlanta, GA, and Olympia, WA. We've got coffee in markets and in coffee bars on both sides of the country, and our products can be ordered online by people who just want to have their coffee delivered to their doors. Coffee shops all over the world now serve Dancing Goats® to their many different kinds of customers. Our Dancing Goats® Coffee Bar is within the Ponce City Market, right off the Beltine, making it easily accessible. It has become a stopover for people visiting festivals, concerts, parks, or shopping at Ponce City Market. With plenty of bicycle parking and surrounded by mid-rise apartments, condos, and older houses, our shop is a local favorite! Brewed coffee, lattes, and iced espresso drinks are just a few of the handcrafted specialty beverages that keep our customers coming back for more. To go with your coffee, you can also enjoy a Duck's doughnut or bread, muffins, or one of our other locally made pastries. Our outdoor patio was the filling station for their vehicles and is a fun standout feature of our shared space. The patio is extra-large and showcases a distinctive and beautiful water fountain. Folklore has it that the freshwater spring flowing under the store has healing properties. Our Dancing Goats® Coffee Bar is the known hotspot in the local film industry for making the best coffee in town. We have developed a reputation for not letting the weather shut us down, so you can come in for delicious coffee no matter rain, snow, sleet, or shine.
