Hey friends! Just a quick update : our current status as of today. County permit and inspection is next. I can be sure there will be more than one. Nov 2nd the Board of zoning appeals will review my request for the sign. I am asking for a slightly larger sign therefore it must go before the board. The exact date of opening is unknown. But. WE WILL OPEN 🍦☕️🍦☕️🍦☕️🍦

I appreciate all of the support and love all of the excitement Awe So Sweet has stirred up. I believe in transparency and I just want you all to know that we are still working very hard at getting everything approved by county. I’m gonna continue to post and keep you informed when it’s all set and done. It’s gonna be fabulous. I just wish that I could give you all a more definitive timeline.

Please continue to stay engaged with me. Ask your questions. I try to respond as quickly as possible. I take phone calls every day. Unfortunately this new phone system has a screening that I cannot get rid of.🥴 so leave a message and I’ll call you back🍦☕️

Practice makes perfect! Haven’t rolled a cone 🍦in nearly 40 years. Muscle memory kicked in. They weren’t perfect but sure do taste delicious! I know. I am a tease! But word is we are VERY close now. County inspection is the next step. 🍓🍦. Took a lot to get to this point I am so grateful to all that helped to get this far!! It wont let me tag you. But you know who you are!!!

Why are we not open…?? Well. Charleston county governs all businesses in Awendaw. I am still waiting on a CO. Nothing moves fast in government. One wrong document and you are back on another 14 day hold. I am SMH in disbelief that it could possibly be that long. I have faith that the timing will be perfect. I know its coming and will be great! Just over here holdin on to my last ounce of patience🥴Awe So Sweet

I don’t go to school, but Today I got Graded!! You guys we are so close, I can smell the Waffle cones!!! One more baby step. And we will have a party!

Opening a business is one wild ride. The red tape is no joke. We are getting through it, and I know these temporary stalls will be worth it for the long Haul!!! Ya’ll hold on. We are almost there. Pinky promise!!!
