Special visitor to OST! John Wayne’s wonderful grandson Matthew Munoz shared a meal with us. We are lucky to have shared time with him on his annual visit. From the man himself: “Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes to us at midnight very clean. It’s perfect when it arrives and it puts itself into our hands.” Have a wonderful day everyone!

On the right? This past Sunday we sponsored the Bandera Equine Posse for lunch. Nice to see horses in town, although they didn’t eat much!

Horsin’ around at lunch yesterday. We welcomed TxDot Travel Information Center representatives for their Bandera visit. First time to our town in ten years so we welcomed them with OST lunch and ponies followed by other spots in town! Thanks to everyone involved including OST staff who made it a special day for all. Let’s get the horses back soon! And thank you TxDot!

STUFFED POBLANO PEPPER

Poblano stuffed with ground beef, diced onion, Spanish rice, diced tomato, and Monterey Jack cheese, topped with melted cheddar and guacamole. Served with pinto beans, iced tea or coffee, chips and salsa. Get ‘em while we still got ‘em!
