The window is officially open for the 2026 season! 💛✨

Our little yellow cottage is back in action and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you to another summer at Mother’s Kitchen. ☀️

All winter long, you found us at Coffee Matter Café inside Salsbury Organics, where we kept the sandwiches, soups, and good vibes flowing. Now that spring is in full swing, we’re thrilled to be back at the cottage window just like old times.

🟢 Online orders can be picked up at the green shelf right outside the cottage, just as usual.

☕ One quick note: our espresso machine in the cottage is currently being serviced, so all coffee and specialty drinks are still available at Coffee Matter Café inside Salsbury Organics.

We’re so grateful for all of your support through the winter and beyond, and we truly can’t wait to feed you this season from our little yellow house once again. Here’s to another summer of great food, familiar faces, and this amazing community we’re lucky to call home. 💛🌿

🌞🥪 Guess who’s opening the window again soon… 👀💛

Our little yellow cottage is getting ready to come back to life for the summer and honestly, we’re really excited about it.

All winter long, you all showed up for us inside Salsbury Organics. You grabbed sandwiches, stayed warm with us, supported this new chapter, and helped us grow in such a beautiful way. We’re so grateful for this community. 💛

Now the days are getting longer, the island’s waking back up, and we’ve been getting the cottage ready for another season of window orders, summer lunches, familiar faces, and all the fun that comes with summer on MDI. ☀️

Soon enough, you’ll be back at the window with a coffee in hand, grabbing lunch from our little yellow house just like old times. We can already feel the summer energy rolling back in. 🌿✨

Nacho night ideas ✨

Here’s a quick little local shout out!

We put this together for dinner at home for our girls recently. Let’s just say… it was a hit. 💛

We built a loaded platter on Casa De Salsa’s homemade tortilla chips, piled high with pulled pork, black beans, sour cream, and all the good stuff.

If you were at the MDI Community Market this summer, you probably saw her. A local mom out there slinging fresh chips and salsa to the community. And now we’re lucky to have her products right here in the shop.

Her chips? Perfect crunch. Perfect texture. Built for nachos, dipping, and straight-up snacking.
All that’s left is to load them up with her salsa or keep it on the side and go to town.

🍰✨ What makes a cake like this so good?

Every baked good that comes out of our kitchen is made from scratch, using ingredients we trust and stand behind.

We’re talking flour from King Arthur and Bob’s Red Mill, dairy from Cabot, Kate’s, and Hood, berries from Wyman’s - the kind of ingredients that make baking feel honest, simple, and really, really good.

It takes more time. More care. More intention.
And we wouldn’t do it any other way.

Because around here, every bite matters. And yes… we put a whole lot of love into it too. 💛
