This weekend we will be celebrating the summer solstice and the longest day of the year! Litha and Midsummer to me are all about celebrating the sunshine and the energy it brings, and enjoying all the bounties of the season.

I have a record number of handcrafted syrups to choose from, and a whole new menu of delicious mocktails that celebrate all of the abundant flowers, fruits, and herbs I have grown and foraged so far this year 🥹🙌✨🌿🍓🌸

As a special treat for the Summer Solstice, all mocktails served Saturday night with have handcrafted flower ice cubes I made from the flowers in my garden 💐 (While supplies last)

Pictured is the floating altar that I made tonight! Please feel free to bring an organic offering for it (flowers, fruit, etc) I will weave everything into it and send it down the river tomorrow night as an offering and thanks for this already abundant season 🙏🌊✨🖤

Last call on Miso Caramel for a bit because this week I made Gochujang Caramel! 🌶️❤️
I foraged a ton of elderflowers so we are stocked again, and also grabbed the last of my friend’s rhubarb so Strawberry Rhubarb Lemonade is back too 🤤

Thank you to everyone who came out and tried the new menu items this past week!
Strawberry was obviously a big hit, lots of Strawberry Rhubarb Lemonades, Strawberry Matcha Lattes, and "Kind of a Big Dill" mocktails served! Gorgeous weather this past week equaled happy people and plants, my moon flowers were soaking it up ✨🌙 🌿

With all the rain I’m thinking I’ll be foraging blackcaps this week 🤩🖤

What a week it has been, seems like a month has gone by. From the highs of my first preview night and wonderful full moon gathering with my people, to the extreme lows of grieving the loss of someone I grew to know as a friend and the loss of a place I thought I would someday call home.

Audrie was one of my regulars at the Bella Vita that I was blessed to see every week, and over the years I grew to call her a friend. She was a beam of light in a dark room. Her energy was infectious, her smile was one I always was happy to see and immediately made me feel lighter and warmer in her presence. We would often talk of our adventures, the places we hiked, the national parks we had seen, where we were going next. She was so genuine, and kind, and supportive. She was always trying my new drinks and flavors, and she was so excited for me when I told her about The Witching Hour. I’m going to miss her, this whole community is, she was one in a million. I’m honoring her in the small way that I can, by making her favorite drink for this weekend, the “Van Mom” 🚐 Love you Audrie ❤️

I will be open tomorrow morning from 9-1 for my first ever coffee service, and will be open for mocktails later in the evening, likely 5-10. Come see me!

Thank you to everyone who came out to see me for my first preview night this past Saturday!
A line out the door, selling out of a drink, people relaxing by the river, laughter coming from the zen den, and singing along to the records is honestly all I could have asked, dreamed, and hoped for 🥹🙏🖤 So again, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all who came out! I feel like this is just the beginning 🥹✨🌿🫖

The first preview night gave me great insight into what worked, and what didn’t and what I will need moving forward. I’m excited for round two… THIS WEEKEND!

This Saturday I will be open for my first MORNING COFFEE SERVICE 🤩☕️🙌
I will be offering pour overs, cold brew, and for those who want to stay awhile and relax inside or out back by the river, a french press 🥰🙏🖤

Tentative hours for Saturday are 9am-1pm, then I will be back open again for mocktails and such from 4pm-10pm.

I say tentative because fun fact: I am disabled and chronically ill and never really know when I’m going to have a flare up and be completely unable to be an upright, functioning human being. These preview weekends are for me to have the ability to work out the kinks and also test out hours to see what I’m capable of and what a “normal day” would look like. If Saturday doesn’t cause me to have a bad flare up I will be open on Sunday as well 🥰🙏🖤

Anywho, back to the fun stuff!
I will have all new syrups, oxymels, shrubs, and mocktail flavors this weekend so come try out some fun new seasonal flavors I whipped up this week 🥰 It will unfortunately be last call on elderflower since they all seem to be gone already 🥺 But my friend let me chop all her rhubarb so “Rhubarb’s back on the menu, boys!” (said in an lotr orc voice 🤓🤣)
