Today at Dari Joy, we had the pleasure of meeting a gentleman named Dan.
Dan is currently bicycling from Portland, Maine all the way to San Diego, California in honor of his father, who recently passed away from Parkinson’s disease. His journey is to help raise awareness and support Parkinson’s research.
During his stop in our small town of Bellows Falls, he chose Dari Joy as a place to rest and share his story with us. The waitresses who spoke with him were deeply touched by his kindness, determination, and the love he carries for his dad throughout this journey.
Dan is hoping to make it to San Diego by the first week of August, and we would love to help support him along the way. We’re asking our community to share his story and, if possible, donate to his GoFundMe. Every share, donation, and word of encouragement helps more than you know.
