As we celebrate Halloween with a little whimsy, silliness, and magic, let’s also recognize the incredible effort parents are making to help their children heal and feel safe again. These are hard weeks, and joy may come in small, fleeting moments. May we make room for both the grief and the giggles, hold one another close, and remember that healing doesn’t mean we can’t still find a little magic.

We love you and see you, parents.💜

While some students have returned to the classroom, we want to ensure that all Silver Rail Elementary families continue to feel supported and cared for. We have launched several opportunities and initiatives designed to provide ongoing support, meet the needs of our families, and strengthen our school community. Our commitment to Silver Rail families remains strong, and we look forward to continuing to serve and support you! 💜

Please, share.

In light of the news that Bend-La Pine Schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday, we’ll once again be offering pay-what-you-can admission on October 19th and 20th, from 8 AM to 3 PM.

I’m trying to be mindful of the amount of news and information being shared, as I know it can all feel overwhelming. I want this space to remain a supportive, welcoming, and helpful place for our families.

If there’s anything you think Play Theory Café could offer to better support our families during this time, I’d love to hear your ideas. Please feel free to send me a message. We’re here for our community, and I want to do what I can to help. ❤️

My favorite event! I got to bake 200 cookies and sit with my and others' kids and just have fun. ❤️ Thank you for such a fun month!
