WKYT news has ran with our post about closing the salad bar for a few days. It's important to know we have NOT had any issues or complaints, we are OPEN and wanted to let our customers who regularly get our salad bar know that we are being cautious, and not to plan a visit with us hoping to get the salad bar for a few days. That's my only intention.

Due to the increasing rise of the cyclosporiasis parasite virus, and out of an abundance of caution, we will not have the salad bar open for the next couple of days. We feel that despite our best efforts and washing and sanitizing, its not worth potentially making someone sick, as this thing is pretty wicked and prolific. We will take it day by day and decide. I'd like to have it back open by the weekend or before.

We are triple washing our lettuces for sandwiches and burgers, but if you are being careful and want it left off your order, please tell us.

With a very busy weekend ahead, we have a few announcements!

*We will NOT open the salad bar this Saturday. Its just too much to keep up with with so many people coming in. We WILL have several fresh grab and go salads with dressings in the cooler, along with sandwiches, snacks, and cold drinks.

*Right now potentially we are looking at closing at 6pm Saturday. The craft festival closes at 5pm and in previous years after that we were completely empty. If its busy we will stay open.

*There is a chance we will need to close for about an hour mid day Saturday to restock and clean and let my family and I rest a few minutes. Probably around 2. We will post here and put a sign both doors.
