Hello November!
Our annual Thanksgiving Feast is just around the corner! 🦃

Big Sur River Inn serves a hearty and delicious three-course meal with family-style sides. Enjoy holiday favorites like herb-roasted turkey, citrus-stuffed whole branzino, or prime rib alongside wild mushroom stuffing, marshmallow candied yams, and our garlic mashed potatoes.

Sunday at its best! The Bubba Pickens Band made the day an absolute joy.

Sad to say, the 2026 Sunday Music season has come to an end, but we couldn’t have asked for better weather, better company, or a better band to close out the year.

The 39th annual Big Sur River Inn Halloween Party is almost upon us!
Join us Friday, October 30th, for sweet treats, snacks, a parade, and spooky good times. We kick off the festivities with a parade around the property at 3:30 pm, and the reception runs ‘til 5 pm.

We love hosting this tradition for our local kiddos, and we can’t wait to see everyone in costume!

Good news for all our Fall Break adventurers visiting River Inn!
California State Parks Big Sur is reopening Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park to the public on Friday, October 16th.

Many of Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park’s popular areas and facilities—like Buzzards Roost Trail, the River Path, the Nature Trail, and the Campfire Center—are accessible once again.

There are still fire-related closures in the park and across Big Sur. Please respect and follow these closures to keep yourself and our community safe.

Meat to make a grown man cry ✨🥩✨

Chef Adan’s prime rib was once only available for special events and holidays, but it has become a welcome tradition in our Thursday rotation. Nothing quite like a hearty plate adorned with garlic mashed potatoes and horseradish cream sauce.
