The explosion garnered national headlines which featured the iconic Rocking R Bar sign laying in a pile of rubble. On July 26th, 2011 the Rocking R Bar reopened it's doors with a huge celebration. The community support was overwhelming and was indicative of what this establishment has meant to the town and university students.
