Ship on up to Boston and step back in time while enjoying a modern interpretation of historic New England cuisine at “A Revolutionary Feast,” a one-night-only culinary collaboration celebrating Mass250 at the Revere Hotel Boston Common , sponsored by Yankee Magazine and Amy Traverso .
Hosted by Chef Marc Sheehan of Northern Spy alongside Executive Chef Jeremy Franzen of Rebel’s Guild, this intimate banquet-style dinner showcases the flavors, ingredients, and traditions that helped shape New England’s culinary identity.
The evening begins with a welcome reception featuring a signature cocktail and an abundant selection of passed snacks and traditional New England spreads, including Duxbury oysters with cranberry kosho mignonette, cured tuna tartare with rhubarb and horseradish, buckwheat ployes with smoked Maine brook trout, fried surf clam sliders, hot buttered Maine lobster, hearth-smoked Ossabaw country ham, Parker House rolls, and more.
Guests will then enjoy a multi-course banquet dinner featuring:
Warm spring vegetable salad with green garlic custard, Lakin Gorges Morgan cheese, and black truffle Madeira vinaigrette
Dry-aged Massachusetts grass-fed beef prepared three ways with Plimoth Grist Mill white flint corn sampe, spinach with smoked lobster vinaigrette, grilled peas, new potatoes, and sauce Bordelaise
Sticky maple pudding with strawberries steamed in beach rose syrup and vanilla ice cream
