All,
Thank you so much. I needed to read these today. I’m a tough gal, but won’t lie to you today and tell you it doesn’t get to me and my mental health. The hidden messages of profanity they send, the rude email I got today that told me I need to evaluate owning a business, the grown man that yelled at two young servers this weekend and said “I will make a scene!” And scared them, the person who called me a racist because I hang out with different races 🤔 (confusing lol)
Either way.. I KNOW I’m doing the right thing, I KNOW my staff backs me, and now today I know there are still wonderful people and supporters out there. I truly thank you.

To everyone who supported our decision to close on the Fourth of July—thank you. ❤️
We have a small but mighty team that very often works 50+ hours each week, giving up evenings, weekends, and holidays so we can serve our community. We made the management decision to give our staff something they don’t often get: a holiday with the people they love. 🇺🇸
Instead of opening our doors, we hosted a cookout for our employees and their families because we truly believe our team is family.
We know not everyone agreed with that decision, and that’s okay. But we believe that making memories with your kids, parents, spouses, partners, and friends matters. Taking one day to invest in the people who make this restaurant what it is was an easy choice for us.
To those who understood, encouraged us, and supported our team—thank you. Your kindness means more than you know.
We can’t wait to welcome you back.
We’re open Sunday from 11:00 AM–9:00 PM, and we’re excited to see you then!
Hope you all had a very safe and happy 4th of July! -Erica & Family, Dayre & Mule Fam
