It's been way too long Pittsburgh! I miss you maybe as much as you miss my treats.

BVH will be back in town for the on August 1st and I'll be bringing some Dr Pepper Cake Jars.

I can always tell when I got a recipe just right by the way people come up to me at an event when I do t have their favorite thing on the menu that day. Reactions range from disappointment to open hostility. I especially enjoy the hostility since it feeds my black little heart. My Pecan Sandies are definitely one of these treats that elicit this sort of response. I don’t blame any of you for loving them this much. They are one of my favorites too. Pick some up at Cuyahoga Valley Farmers Market on July 4th from 9am-12pm at Howe Meadow in Cuyahoga Falls.

BVH returns to on Saturday, July 4th. Stop by Howe Meadow in Cuyahoga Falls from 9AM - 12PM and snag some of my Red White & Blue Cookies! Packed with dried strawberries, dried blueberries and white chocolate chips, these are the perfect treat for Independence Day. (Side note: I know many of us don't feel like celebrating this country right now so if you just need a treat to escape the daily hellscape, BVH is here for you.)

Today is the day when my world's truly collide! Long before I even interviewed to be the new Director of , I had a Pride Month partnership in the works with this incredible institution.

Saturday, June 27th at 6:40 PM come see one of my favorite films by Pedro Almodóvar, LAW OF DESIRE, starring Antonio Banderas. BVH will be set up selling Brownies, Oatmeal Cream Pies and Chocolate Chip Cookies before the show. All BVH sales tonight benefit !
