We had a great morning hosting the North Coast Rotary Club and Foundation club in partnership with Rathlin Soils.

The compost you see in the photos is made from food scraps and yard waste collected and processed right here in Northeast Ohio.

From banana peel to soil in about ~90 days. It takes a collective of folks working together to make this happen and we’re grateful for each one!

From the folks collecting their scraps at home, chefs in the kitchen revitalizing the meaning of waste, and back of house event staff, all the way to our composting partners processing and maintaining the beautiful buffet for microbes, it truly is a full system!

We’re better at this together because of our collective choice to make sure food stays out of the landfill.

Thanks for joining along for the ride! 🌱🚜🌱🚜🌱🚜🌱
