Inspired by the 1956 Hungarian Freedom Fight, which began on October 23rd, and the nations who stood with us.
In 1956, on October 23rd, the Hungarian people rose for freedom — and the world took notice.
Across the globe, people and nations expressed solidarity with Hungary, reminding us that the desire for freedom knows no borders.
This Goulash Sunday, we honor that spirit of courage, friendship, and freedom.
At Ravenstone Abbey, we believe food is more than nourishment. It carries memories, traditions, and stories across generations and borders.
Join us for authentic Hungarian Goulash, prepared the traditional way — slow-cooked beef, rich Hungarian paprika, and homemade nokedli (Hungarian noodles).
A simple meal, a meaningful tradition, and a celebration of something that belongs to all of us: freedom.
