Lots of questions this week. TRUCKS AT THE TRACK is every other Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at the Cornish racetrack track beside Bangor savings bank on the west and fairgrounds pub to the east, just west of downtown and across from the cemetery. We have plenty of parking. A handicapped Porta potty and a grandstand for the music . Lots of grass, 9 food trucks and lots of fun going on.

𝐎𝐧 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟑𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐚𝐭 𝟔:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌, 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤, our community will come together to recognize three 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐧:

- 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐧
- 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐬
- 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫

These young men showed incredible courage and quick action during a house fire on Old Pike Road on May 25, 2026. Their heroic efforts are a powerful reminder of the strength, heart, and bravery found right here in our community.

The Cornish Fire Department, 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐧𝐚𝐧 along with neighboring fire, rescue, and police departments, will be present to honor them with a well-deserved Heroism Award.

We are also honored to welcome 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐛𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫, who will be presenting each of these young men with a 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬.
