This week, McKinney & Olive hosted a Bee Lunch & Learn and Honey Tasting event in celebration of World Bee Day.

Customers learned about the vital role of bees and enjoyed a unique sensory experience comparing the flavor of honey from McKinney & Olive's beehives to honey produced by beehives at other Granite Properties-owned buildings in Houston.

Happy Earth Day!

We brought nature indoors with a planting event in our lobby. Customers enjoyed socializing while potting their favorite plant to take home.

Increasing plant life, indoors and outdoors, has many benefits including air purification and enhancing biodiversity.

Happy Architecture Week!

To celebrate, we’re spotlighting world-renowned architect Cesar Pelli, Gregg Jones, and Rob Narracci of Pelli Clarke & Partners for designing our beautiful building.

McKinney & Olive was Cesar Pelli’s first design in Dallas as well as the first commercial building in Dallas designed by an internationally acclaimed architect since the 1980s.

The late Cesar Pelli was selected as one of the ten most influential living architects by the The American Institute of Architects (AIA) winning their prestigious AIA Gold Medal in 1995.

To celebrate, we invited our customers to an Easter Egg Hunt complete with Peter Rabbit, hidden eggs, and many prizes. We also hosted offering Easter essentials such as baskets, popcorn and candy.

Yesterday, our lobby transformed into a flower shop. Customers stopped by to create their own flower bouquets, picked up Valentine’s Day cards, and entered to win one of two beautiful flower arrangements.

Thank you to all our customers for writing holiday cards for nursing home residents as part of our annual TogetherWeGive charity event.

For this year’s event, we transformed our lobby into the Wild West, complete with Cowboy Santa, Southern comfort food and a branding station to personalize leather keychains.

TogetherWeGive is part of Granite’s customer engagement program, TogetherWeConnect®, designed to create connected communities in the workplace. To spread the cheer, Granite will deliver the holiday cards along with 80 care packages to local nursing homes.
