Early voting ends tomorrow (Saturday 10/31) at 3pm! More than 150,000 eligible voters have still not voted in Durham County! That's more than half of all registered voters in the county! Now would be a great time to start bothering your friends and neighbors about their plans to vote! I'm checking the forecast, and it is definitely looking like tomorrow will be biscuit weather. Specifically, biscuit and gravy weather, except a new kind of gravy made with Firsthand Foods chorizo, roasted poblanos and a pico de gallo.

Who knows when we'll make this again, so if it's your jam, you should most definitely visit us tomorrow!

The best donut is always the one that's still warm. If you come in right now and ask the cashier very nicely for a fresh plain glazed, the magic eight ball of my mind says "outlook good".

Yes, the roads are still a mess, but we really would hate for these hot donuts to go to waste..... KNOX IS STILL OPEN from Broad!

I know the construction on Ninth Street is.... inconvenient... BUT, behind all the excavators and cement trucks, we're still here!!! And, we just put a batch of dirt cups in the fridge!

Both of our parking lots are still accessible from Knox Street, you just have to do a loopty loop turnaround thing at one of the cross roads!

Early voting starts today and runs through Halloween! Don't put it off though, make a plan and get it done! S**t happens and voting shouldn't be the thing we don't get to this year.

1. If you have your ID, bring it, but if you don't have one, fomcote any way and fill out the exception form.

2. If you're not registered yet, you MUST go to early voting to register. You will not be able to register on election day.

3. Questions about voting, call the voters assistance hotline 1 833 VOTE 4 NC

4. You can vote at any early voting site inside the county of your registration. Day of voting must take place at your precinct.

5. Whether or not you voted is public record! Nobody else will know WHO you voted for, but everyone and anyone can look up whether or not you showed up to vote!

6. If you have kids, take them with you! Teach them NOW that it's their job to vote! Make it a habit!

7. Vote the whole ballot!
