Years ago, one of our dishwashers dubbed a certain round table the “Mafia Table.” Why? Because friends and family would gather there during service — Italian, loud, comfortable chairs, lots of food. He figured: must be the mafia.

The name stuck.

Today, it’s our unofficial VIP table. If you know, you know. And this weekend, it inspired a cake.

Introducing: The Mafia Cake
Four layers of espresso chocolate cake
Coated in house-made cannoli cream
Studded with Luxardo cherries
Finished with chocolate chips + crushed cannoli shells

A little nod to The Godfather: Leave the gun, take the cannoli.
We’ll leave the cake. You take the fork.
