Another engagement at Provender last night... and this time it was one of our own!
Congratulations to Josh and Tammy! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness.
You two have an amazing future ahead.
This seems like the perfect time to tell the story of how Josh ended up at Provender.
A little over a year ago, it was 2:00 in the afternoon on a crazy busy summer day when someone called out. I was frantically scrolling Facebook trying to think of anyone who could help that night. Nobody.
Then, out of nowhere, I came across a post from Josh saying he was looking for some side workpainting, handyman jobs, anything really.
So naturally... I called him and asked, "How about cooking?"
With little to no kitchen experience, Josh's response was simply, "I'll do my best. I'll give it a shot."
That was all I needed to hear.
He showed up within the hour, listened, learned, took direction, and absolutely crushed it.
He helped save what could have been a very difficult service.
Since that day, Josh has shown up and given 110% every single shift. He brings an incredible attitude, a willingness to learn, and is always ready to help wherever he's needed.
Today, there's just about nothing in the restaurant he can't do.
Josh, we're incredibly lucky to have you on our team. Thank you for everything you do. Keep up the amazing work.
