💗 A Little Life Update from Mighty Macaron 💗
I’ve been a little quiet lately, and I know some of you have noticed that I haven’t been at the markets as much or as active on this page. I wanted to take a moment to explain why.
A couple of weeks ago, something happened that completely shook my sense of safety. While I was home alone, taking a shower, someone entered my home after covering my security cameras with sticky notes. When I realized what had happened, I was absolutely terrified. Thankfully, nothing appeared to be missing, and Public Safety responded quickly to make sure nobody was still inside.
But the reality is, just because nothing was taken doesn’t mean nothing was lost.
My sense of security, my peace of mind, and my ability to feel comfortable in my own home have all been affected. It’s something I’m still trying to process, and it’s been harder than I ever imagined.
Because Mighty Macaron is a home-based business, this has affected more than just my personal life. It’s affected my motivation, my ability to focus on baking, and honestly, my desire to leave my house some days.
I’ve spent so much of this year pouring my heart into this little business, showing up at markets, meeting new faces, and building something I’m incredibly proud of. Having to take a step back has been difficult, especially when I love what I do so much.
I don’t want anyone to think I’ve given up on Mighty Macaron or that I’ve forgotten about the amazing community that has supported me. I’m still here. I’m just trying to find my way back to feeling like myself again. 💗
I appreciate everyone who has continued to support my business, checked in, or simply stuck around while things have been quiet.
I can’t promise I’ll be back to my normal schedule overnight, but I can promise that Mighty Macaron isn’t going anywhere.
Thank you for giving me a little grace while I navigate something I never imagined I’d have to experience.
🍂 On a happier note, Mighty Macaron will be at Gladstone’s Harvest Fest this Sunday, October 25th! 🍁
I’m looking forward to getting back out there, seeing some familiar faces, hopefully meeting some new ones, and doing something that brings me so much happiness. It may seem like just another event to some, but for me, it’s a little step toward getting back to normal.
I hope you’ll stop by, say hello, and grab some macarons! Your support means more than you could ever know. 💕
With love,
Chelsie
