Bongo Latte performs LIVE at PLAY on July 18th from 7pm to 9pm!

Bongo Latte is a high-energy band blending Latin Jazz, Afro-Cuban, and Brazilian rhythms into a vibrant musical experience. The group was founded on California’s Mendocino Coast by pianist and bassist duo Dorian and Dorothea May, alongside dance teacher and percussionist Chad Swimmer. They quickly became local favorites, packing the Headlands Coffeehouse for First Fridays and performing at the prestigious Sequoia Room, wineries, art galleries, and Latin dance events.

After relocating to Eugene, Oregon, Dorian and Dorothea expanded the band, teaming up with percussionists Carlito Perez and Rich Fling. Together, they bring a dynamic mix of smooth jazz harmonies, fiery percussion, and infectious rhythms that ignite any stage.

Bongolatte’s performances are an irresistible celebration of culture and connection, drawing listeners and dancers alike into their unique soundscape. Whether at intimate venues, festivals, or dance nights, they captivate audiences with their engaging style and joyful energy.

This month we are featuring artist A. Leonard. See a variety of art inspired by inner and outer landscapes this show features representational and abstract works in fiber and watercolor.

In collaboration with Lane Arts Council, walk thru our July artist of the month and get a chance to meet her from 5-7pm!

Plus, while you're here, stick around for a live performance from Possible Human Origins live on our outdoor patio stage!

Two technicians and an engineer agree on a great idea for bringing a fun diverse acoustic performance to local wineries and brew pubs. What came next was the blend of three eclectic musicians melding all of their different tastes and styles into an energetic mix of music and the three began the evolution of Possible Human Origins. The rest is a story that is still unfolding. Come join the journey and make some new memories with us!

Over the years, his sound evolved beyond hip-hop, embracing the heavy rhythms and low-end energy of modern bass music. Blending decades of experience with a forward-thinking approach, DJ F-Minus delivers dynamic sets that bridge underground roots with cutting-edge bass culture, creating unforgettable experiences on every stage.
