Chef Lee has over 20 years of experience in kitchens, from New Mexico to Colorado, from France to Malaysia. He's taken classes at Kendall College, the Arts Institute of Chicago, and Johnson and Wales. Yokie is from Melaka, Malaysia, where the family still owns and operate a hostel, a hotel, and a durian plantation. Rose is our amazing daughter, and she is usually running the cashier station, as sh

e has been since she was twelve years old. This is our passion project. We are fanatical about our food. We brew our own soy sauce. We make our own sauces, including our famous House Red Chile Sauce. We bring in high quality ingredients, and we treat them with love and respect. We hope you enjoy!

Willie's Batch One is

How it started: a shed in Cooke City and a bucket list goal.
How it's going: our first billboard! Chef went on Chopped, snagged a James Beard Foundation nod for Best Chef, and a whole new family of friends and regulars down here in Fishtail.
Yokie's rarely here anymore- but if you want to catch her best odds are around 7:30, when we take a shift drink.
Rose is here, but only for 64 more shifts 😢then she moves to New York City! She's pursuing her dance career out there.
Chef and Vinnie are ALWAYS here, same for Payday, our rockstar bartender, and we just made two new hires today. Come in and hang out with the old timers while you still can and meet the new kids who are going to take MontAsia through the next decade.
We love you guys! Thanks for all the support!

Pete was an unforgettable dude. Chef always said he looked like Pixar drew a Mountain Man. He looked like a skinny Yosemite Sam. He was a true throwback to the men who used to roam the Beartooths, Absarokas, and Yellowstone at the end of that wild era.
He was kind to Yokie when few were. He knew how to talk to Chef about cancer when few did. He looked rough, and he was a wiry dude, but he had a huge heart of gold for his friends.
Next time you’re in the mountains, leave a shot of gin for Pete.
