Good morning, y’all!

Looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day in Flat Rock.

Just a quick heads-up that we’ll be closed to the public this evening while we host a private event. If you happen to see the lights on and folks gathering, we’re celebrating with some of our locals tonight!

We’re always grateful when people choose Hey Chickadee to be part of their celebrations and community gatherings.

We’ll be back open tomorrow from 11:00 AM–4:30 PM serving up Honey Creemee® and look forward to seeing y’all then!

We are often asked “How much honey do you use?”

The answer is:

A LOT! A whole lot!

We just bought this 5 gallon bucket of honey not even three weeks ago…and it is almost gone.

Between regular service, and night time socials for camps and private parties, we go through a whole bunch.

Thanks so much for the support of our customers and for those of you coming out to give us a try!

And thanks so much to our wonderful beekeeping partners for enabling this delicious dream.

And last but never least thanks to the BEES 🐝!!

Quick update 🔊

As delicious as the strawberry and chocolate milk from Big Bottom Milk Company is, we’re gonna take a break from carrying it for a bit

We sold one out of two case 😅

Don’t worry, it didn’t go to waste, we gave it away to customers with kiddos.

Will bring it back when there’s more of a demand for drink purchases ✅

Over the past couple weeks we’ve heard so many kind things about our Honey Creemee®, and we just wanted to say thank you.

People have told us it’s the best ice cream they’ve ever had. Some have said it reminds them of the kind of ice cream they remember having as a kid - real. Others are surprised by how unique it is—and then that first bite hits and we get to see the surprise and delight!

One thing we hear a lot is how much people appreciate the quality of the ingredients and the care we put into what we serve. That means so much to us!

We really believe good food starts with great ingredients and thoughtful preparation, and we’ve worked hard to make something that is special.

It’s also been incredibly encouraging hearing so many folks rooting for us and telling us they hope we make it here in Flat Rock. That kind of support means more than you know. 🌻

Thank y’all for showing up, spreading the word, bringing friends, and supporting this little dream of ours.
