The faces behind First Mile ownership have grown and changed over the years, so we thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce the families that make this place what it is.
First up, Dr. Lahren and Becky! They gave First Mile its home at 28 Market Street, and you’ll still find them jumping in wherever they’re needed.
Next is the Guy family. Chances are one of your favorite beers on our ever-changing tap list started as one of Travis’s recipes. Behind the scenes, Jodi, Abigail, and Caleb do a little bit of everything, from payroll to slinging pizzas to cleaning kegs.
Then there’s the Deprey family. Matt was our very first brewer, and you could often find him and Sawyer here during the early mornings and late nights brewing your favorites. When Shelly isn’t delivering babies, you’ll catch her lending a hand in the kitchen.
And finally, the newest family to join the ownership team: the Boyntons. While they’re the newest owners, they’ve been part of the First Mile story since the beginning. Amanda was one of First Mile’s very first bartenders and now keeps the day-to-day operations running smoothly. And of course, there’s Nate, our fearless brewer, always hard at work creating what’s next.
At the end of the day, First Mile has always been about family. The families who built it, the families who work here, and the families who gather here. Whether you’re here with your kids, your parents, your friends, or your four-legged family members, there’s a seat for you at our table. 🍻
