Friends of Grand Rapids Parks focusus on restoring and conserving Grand Rapids parks, trees, and green spaces through volunteerism, park activation, and creating community centered events to educate and restore our parks! Since their founding in 2008, they have been working to make Grand Rapids a greener place to live, having planted over 10,000 trees across our neighborhoods.

Friends of GR Parks empowers local residents to cultivate vibrant green spaces through multiple programs, including free hands on workshops and community volunteer opportunities. By supporting Friends of GR Parks, you are helping to fund vital tree plantings, trail building, and the natural resource management that keeps our city healthy and growing for generations to come! ☀️
