Happy Father’s Day from Greendale’s Panther Pub & Eatery.
In President Ronald Reagan’s 1981 Father’s Day proclamation, he wrote that fathers carry an “awesome responsibility” — one they shoulder with love, guidance, sacrifice, and example. He reminded us that the lessons we learn from our fathers help shape not only our private lives, but the kind of people and citizens we become.
As our country prepares to celebrate its 250th year, it’s a good reminder that strong families, steady fathers, and the values passed down from one generation to the next have always been part of the American story.
Today, we raise a glass to the dads, stepdads, grandpas, adoptive fathers, foster fathers, father figures, and all the men who show up, lead with love, and give more than they ask for in return.
From coaching little league, attending tea parties, fixing what’s broken, giving advice we didn’t know we needed, or just being the steady presence at the table — today is for you.
Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Panther Pub.
Come celebrate Dad with good food, cold drinks, and one more memory around the table.
