The response to our hiring announcement has been incredible, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has applied! As we continue building the Curtain Call Café team, we’re still looking for a few key players—including a full-time barista.

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, energetic, and passionate about creating great drinks and memorable guest experiences. Barista experience is strongly preferred, and morning availability is a must.

Working up high tonight cleaning these beautiful lights. I’m in love with the pattern they make on the ceiling. I did a little research and I think they’re at least 60 years old. They are perfect for our café and fit right in with our theme. Just one more thing checked off of the endless list we have before we open.

Up at 6 am till 2 for my job at Verizon, then up till 1 am working on the cafe. If you want it, it’s worth it! The cafe has come so far and still has so much work till be done.I never thought Erik and I would start a new business at this phase in our lives but I am so excited to see where we take it.

Curtain Call Café is officially hiring passionate, friendly, energetic people who love creating great experiences for others. Coffee experience is a plus—but a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine love for people are even more important.

📢 ATTN: KNOX FIELD NEIGHBORS - GRADUATION FIREWORKS FRIDAY NIGHT - JUNE 26

The Greater Johnstown School District would like to make our neighbors near Knox Field aware that a short fireworks show will take place on Friday evening, June 26, immediately following Johnstown’s 7 p.m. graduation ceremony outside on Knox Field.

We understand that fireworks can be disruptive to people and pets, and we wanted to provide advance notice so residents can plan accordingly.

Graduation fireworks are a cherished Johnstown tradition, and we’re hopeful the weather cooperates so the Class of 2026 can enjoy this special celebration. Our graduates have worked hard to fundraise for this event, and we’re excited to help them mark this milestone with a memorable sendoff.
