Bobby & I took the day off from the mabankfarmersmarket I needed a break SO desperately & I *believe* this is only our 3rd Market to ever miss! I made the decision to miss the market on Wednesday of this week, & the next day I found out my brother was coming to visit from the military & my oldest brother was bringing his family to visit this weekend! SO excited to spend a Saturday with family! BUT never fear the shop is in great hands & is open until 5:30 PM🤗

TODAY feels like it’s been a FULL day already & it’s not even 9am🤣

- we stopped for breakfast & I said it feels like we are missing something — hmmm OH THE ESPRESSO MACHINE (but lucky me, I have anxiety about being late SO we leave an hour early almost everywhere we go - so we were still early)
-our water line on the cart busted /
BUT never fear I had back up parts at the shop / just had to leave the market and go back to Kaufman to get them
- someone who wasn’t me🤣 shattered a shot glass on market street

you can find the cart with a FIXXED water line at the mabankfarmersmarket serving until 12pm & the shop is OPEN all day as usual!

We are celebrating BIG for the 4th ❤️🤍💙 DOUBLE PUNCHES all day long 🤩

(two punches for every drink purchased) + EXTENDED HOURS we will be open 6am-7pm ish!

+ the coffee cart will be at the mabankfarmersmarket 8am-12pm

+ try our newest creation at the shop ✨Freedom Fizz✨ pictured above^ as a red-bull OR sprite - cherry + blue raspberry cold foam

* after 2pm we will switch to drive thru only, all the baristas are spending the evening with their friends + family & I will be running the shop solo & my knee only works at half capacity🤣*

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT TODAY🤣😭

one of the group heads on the espresso machine lost water flow, & of course per the usual Metroplex Espresso Tech LLC saved the day, AND the machine wasn’t down for longer than 30 mins ONLY while it was being worked on! (if you saw cones at the drive thru entrance that’s why) & THEN the sink drain plug thing broke, but of course my besties at ACE had exactly what I needed, (if i had to pick a favorite store it would probably be ACE hardware) 🤣 & we are ALMOST sold flat out of pasta salad & will be restocked Monday! I’m SO happy it’s a hit! OH & I hurt my knee (restocking sodas) I really need a better story, so if you see me limping around, you know why🤣 I’m officially clocking of my 11 hour ‘shift’ - Bobby & I got to the shop EARLY to prep for the mabankfarmersmarket tomorrow!

&&& I have a sweet surprise up my sleeve to celebrate the 4th of July , so keep an eye out for a post later tonight ❤️🤍💙

Back Story: TheBooniesFarm makes the sandwiches & muffins for the shop & Shelby (the owner) gets a Redbull from us each time she comes by, & one day a few weeks ago she walked in with a Watermelon RedBull & asked if I could make something with it & I tasted the creation & LOVED IT & knew it needed a spot on the next menu!

this post may seem familiar because I posted about her baristaversary just a couple months ago!

Brooke is a staple at the shop, she has been a barista with us for a little over a year, she’s overly reliable, she has the sweetest personality, she refuses to do anything halfway or ever miss a line item on the closing/cleaning sheet! She’s been & is a TRUE blessing to Bobby, Eleanor, Eleanor’s & I!
