Throughout the year we work to support People's Place a wonderful local organization dedicated to feeding, clothing and empowering our Kingston and Ulster County neighbors with our time and resources when we are able. In keeping with our holiday tradition, not only are we a collection spot for their Project Santa holiday toy and clothing donations but we will continue to match the donations placed in the box located right inside next to the dining room door. You donate a toy, we donate a toy, you donate gloves, scarves or stocking stuffers and we will do the same. No purchase necessary. If you can’t get here please visit them in Uptown Kingston right off the traffic circle on Broadway. For many this might be a difficult time but they can still have a joyous holiday. Thanks and happy holidays, the Hickory Team.

A few weeks ago Boice's Icecream announced they were going to be producing their own Hard Packed Ice Cream and we were thrilled! We now feature their vanilla, chocolate and a specialty flavor or two here in the restaurant. Our first specialty flavor is "Leftovers" and it's fantastic-Vanilla ice cream, with cookies, candy cookie dough, etc. Children 12 and under enjoy a free scoop with the purchase of a kids meal or order a scoop or three fir dessert after your own meal.
