That only happens when people genuinely believe in what you’re building.
At 23 years old, my wife and I signed the lease for Better Burger — the biggest responsibility of our lives. Just 6 years ago, I came to this country with $56.95 in my pocket. Before Better Burger, I worked at McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Tully’s. I’m grateful for every one of those experiences because they taught me the pressure, systems, discipline, and resilience that shaped this dream.

We’ve been together since we were 15 years old. For 9 years, she’s believed in every crazy idea I’ve had. Better Burger became our child. Every late night, every sacrifice, every breakdown, every tiny win — she’s been there through all of it.

Because Better Burger is not an easy place to work.
There’s constant change, constant improvement, and extremely high expectations. We push our team because we believe people are capable of more than they think. We challenge them to grow, communicate better, move faster, care deeper, and practice hospitality at a level most people never expect from a burger restaurant.
We’re trying to prove something bigger than burgers.
Kindness and hospitality should not only exist behind a $40 steak.
Even a $15 burger should come with an experience that exceeds expectations.
The goal was never just food.
The goal is to feed the East Coast and show people what happens when simple food is treated with obsession, care, and unreasonable hospitality.
