It’s Turkey Thursday at the Boxcar! 🚂 We’re serving up hot open-faced turkey sandwiches with real mashed potatoes and a fresh veggie for $13.95. If you’re stopping in before lunch, today’s Philly Cheesesteak Omelette comes with toast for $13.95.

🎃🚂 WE HAVE WINNERS! And they absolutely nailed it! 😂

A big congratulations to Patty and Paul, the winners of our Boxcar Diner Halloween Costume Contest! 🏆

These two rolled into the station looking like they had just stepped out of a retirement home field trip, and we couldn’t stop laughing! 👵👴

From the cane and bow tie to the curlers, glasses, and handbag, they didn’t miss a detail!

❤️ Thank you to everyone who dressed up, joined in the fun, and helped make Halloween at our little diner so much fun!

This is exactly what we love about Boxcar. It’s not just about breakfast and lunch. It’s about the people, the laughter, and the memories we make together.

🚂 Here’s how to join in Saturday, 10/31:
• Stop in wearing your costume between 6:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
• Let us snap an entry photo with your permission—parent permission required for children.
• Leave your name and phone number privately with our crew.

🏆 Best Kid’s Costume and Best Adult Costume will each win a $25 Boxcar gift certificate!

Our crew will judge creativity and effort after closing—no Facebook likes needed! Winners will be announced Sunday and contacted directly. Winning photos will be shared with permission. Staff costumes are just for fun!

🍎 Our weekend specials, 10/30–11/1, are dressed for the occasion too! Try Caramel Apple Fright Toast with ham, bacon or sausage ($12.25), or settle in for a Ghost Train Grilled Cheese—shredded pot roast, caramelized onions and Swiss on grilled sourdough, with fries ($13.75).
