50 years with YUCA’S. 50 years with you all. Watching you grow up. Watching you grow older. You’ve watched us grow up, watched us grow older. We’ve held each other up in tough times and come together to celebrate and give back.
This one is a hard one without Mama.
Building comunidad, amistad, y familia here in our home of LA has been the greatest blessing.

We are so sad to hear about Eric Dane’s passing. He was not only handsome, he had a loving heart.

Eric would come eat lunch with us since The Grey’s Anatomy set is only a few blocks away. Mama loved him. He loved Mama. She didn’t know he was famous, she let him know his nickname around here was “Mr. Carne Asada”! 🤣

If it wasn’t for our Mr. Carne Asada, we wouldn’t have been mentioned on Oprah! Back in 2007, Eric was on the show chatting with Gayle and told her he knew the best burrito… US! 🤩 His generosity got YUCA’S a mention on Oprah in 2007 as the “Best burrito evah!”

We hope you’re having a burrito with Mama 🕊️ We love you Eric Dane, rest easy.
