Most people know we serve coffee, but did you know we roast it ourselves right here in Iron River , based in the upper peninsula?

Every bag starts as a green coffee bean when welcomed to our Iron River roastery. Through carefully controlled time, temperature, and A LOT of taste tasting, we’ve transformed those green beans into the Contrast Coffee you know and love

What’s cool is that most coffee shops don’t actually roast their own coffee, they buy it already roasted from other companies. Roasting gives us complete control over the final flavor and lets us bring out unique characteristics of each coffee

It’s been 10 years of learning, tweaking, tasting, and refining. Every roast profile we use today is built on thousands of batches and COUNTLESS cups of coffee, you’d think we’d get sick of it by now 😉

So when you grab a bag off the shelf at your local grocer or order your morning latte with us , you’re drinking coffee that was roasted right here in the U.P. by a team that truly loves what they do ☕️
