Y’all, I was up until 3:00 AM baking, packaging, and preparing for tomorrow’s Milan Fall Festival… only to get back up at 6:30 AM and start all over again!

And believe me, there’s STILL so much more to do! 😂

But looking at this table covered in homemade goodies, I can’t help but smile.

I prayed for opportunities to grow, and God continues to open doors. Sometimes those blessings come with very little sleep and a whole lot of work! 😂🙏

But IT MAKES MY HEART SO HAPPY!

🍞🥣 SUNDAY FUNDAY… AND WE’VE GOT SOMETHING NEW COOKING!! 🤩❤️

Ohhhh, y’all!! I’m SO excited about this one!!

Today was all about family time, taste testing, and finalizing our menu for this coming Saturday at the Milan Fall Festival! 🎉

And let me tell you… this is one of my FAVORITE parts of what I do!! ❤️

Nana, PaPaw, Timbo, and I spent some time taste testing different combinations of our homemade sourdough bread bowls filled with two delicious homemade soups and a sauce!

And because I wanted to offer a little variety, we decided to experiment with a few different combinations!

🥖 Rosemary Garlic Sourdough Bread Bowl filled with a hearty spaghetti meat sauce!

🥖 Rustic Pepperoni & Mozzarella Sourdough Bread Bowl filled with a delicious vegetable and beef soup!

I absolutely LOVE receiving sweet text messages and pictures like this from my customers!

Homemade chicken and dressing with a slice of my Cranberry Pepper Jack Sourdough! Now THAT is some comfort food! 😍

But you know what makes this picture even sweeter? The relationship behind it.

When I started Imperfectly Perfect Cottage Bakery, I knew I loved baking and wanted to share something homemade, made with love, and created to bring a little joy into someone’s day.

What I didn’t fully realize was how God would use something as simple as a loaf of sourdough bread to bring some truly wonderful people into my life. ❤️

Some of you started as customers, but somewhere along the way, you’ve become friends, and some of you genuinely feel like family.

The conversations, encouragement, hugs, prayers, laughter, and sweet messages like this one mean more to me than you’ll ever know.

It’s never been just about selling bread. It’s about building relationships, creating connections, and loving on people.

And isn’t it amazing how God can use something so simple to bring people together?

My prayer is that every loaf leaving my kitchen brings a little warmth, comfort, and love into someone else’s home.
