The decor marries old and new with the reclaimed locally made table tops, reclaimed bar front from the existing building dating back to the 1930’s to the contemporary European designed chairs and stools. Julie and Pasquale Ergastolo have been successful entrepreneurs since the mid 1990s opearting Casa Royale Banquets for 18 years and Club Casa Cafe for the past 13 years. Julie and Pasquale have been very successful in the neighboring town of Des Plaines. They have always wanted to open an establishment in their home town of Mount Prospect. Opening in Mount Prospect with all of the friends they have made through the years was a dream come true. When they ran across the opportunity to buy a building that was operating as a restaurant since the 1930s, they couldn’t pass this one up. The history and nostalgia that goes along with the old building is a nod to the hard work and perserverance of the community as a whole.
