Thank you to everyone who bought dinner tonight! We hope your family enjoyed it! We had SO many orders that we honestly got them out on time by the skin of our teeth 😅😳

We were especially happy to provide discounted dinners to firefighters’ families, and we loved seeing SO MANY first-time customers give Wednesday Night Dinners a try too ❤️

We created Wednesday Night Dinners as a solution to OUR OWN problem: wanting a scratch-made meal (with actual vegetables 🥕🥗😂) that our family could sit down and enjoy together after a busy day.

The best part of tonight wasn’t the number of dinners we sold—it was knowing that dozens of families got to skip the grocery shopping, cooking, and dishes and spend a little more time together instead.

Right now, all across town, we like to imagine kitchen tables covered with empty Crosby’s containers, kids arguing over who got the biggest piece of the chocolate peanut butter bar, and parents enjoying a rare night off from cooking. And honestly, that’s exactly why we do this ❤️

🚨 WARNING: This cake may cause extreme levels of birthday envy. 🚨

For Eli’s 14th birthday, we went all-in on Invincible — a show that’s definitely not for everyone (and definitely not for the little kids 😅), but for fans of the series, this cake was an absolute knockout.

The best part wasn’t just the cake itself. It was watching a group of teenage boys completely lose their minds when they saw it. Phones came out immediately. Pictures were taken from every angle. Everyone had something to say. And as a dad, seeing Eli and his friends that excited made me incredibly happy.

A huge shoutout to Kim, who brought this entire vision to life. The talent, creativity, and attention to detail are unbelievable. We get to see the finished cakes, but what I keep thinking about is how many birthdays, celebrations, surprises, and memories she’s been a part of over the years.

It’s easy to say she makes cakes, but what she really creates are moments.

The smiles, the excitement, the conversations, the pictures people save forever—that’s her work too.

We’re incredibly lucky to have Kim on our team, and this cake is just another reminder of how much joy she brings to people’s lives.

I am feeling VERY GRATEFUL for my team and Nashua Fire Rescue tonight!!

A couple of hours ago, I got a call that my staff was contacting the fire department because there was smoke and a burning smell coming from the basement, but nobody could figure out where it was coming from.

I was only about five minutes away and drove over immediately. By the time I arrived, the fire department already had three engines on site and firefighters moving through the building. They were incredibly organized and efficient while my team, the Neverett’s crew, and I waited outside.

The craziest part? The source turned out to be a load of clean towels in our dryer that had started smoldering.

The dryer wasn’t even running.

We still don’t know exactly why it happened. The firefighters suspected there may have been a rubbery material (maybe a glove) mixed in with the towels, but we honestly aren’t sure. We don’t even think the dryer had been used since Thursday.

What really gets me is that my dishwasher happened to stay late today to finish an extra project. He’s the one who noticed the smoke. I don’t even want to think about what could have happened if everyone had gone home and nobody was there to catch it.

Thankfully, this never became a real fire. We lost some packaging that our health inspector recommended we discard because it was too close to the smoke, and we may have lost the dryer itself. But everyone is safe and 😎 NO COOKIES, DONUTS, OR CROISSANTS WERE HARMED 🥐🍩🍪😎

Huge thank you to my incredible staff, my dishwasher for being in exactly the right place at exactly the right time, and the Nashua Fire Department for their quick response.

😅 So pardon me while I lie awake tonight wondering how towels can spontaneously combust. 😅

I think the universe is telling me it’s finally time to hire a linen service. 😂😂😂
