We have absolutely loved seeing so many new faces stopping by, and we genuinely appreciate everyone who has taken the time to visit us since opening. With that being said, we wanted to take a moment to clarify how we operate!

Golden Butter is a custom-order dessert shop, not a walk-in bakery. Everything we make is prepared to order, which means we don’t have a daily display case of desserts available for walk-in purchases.

We operate by appointment only, with all orders arranged in advance through our website or inquiry form. Whether you’re ordering custom cookies, cakes, or desserts for your next event, everything is made specifically for you!

We love the excitement and support from our new community, and we can’t wait to keep creating for you. We just want to make sure everyone knows what to expect before stopping by!

Well, Nutley… we’re officially here!
I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that this is real! What started as a dream has turned into something I can finally call my own business, and getting to celebrate that with so many people who have supported me along the way was incredibly special. 💛

To my family, friends, sisters, and everyone who came out to celebrate, thank you. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or you’re just getting to know Golden Butter, your support means more than you know. I felt so much love last week, and I’m walking into this next chapter feeling incredibly grateful.

Starting this business has come with plenty of challenges, but moments like this remind me exactly why I took the leap. At 30, I get to say I followed a dream and made it happen, and I’m so thankful I didn’t give up on it.

Thank you to Nutley Chamber of Commerce and Mayor John V. Kelly, III for joining us for the ribbon cutting and helping welcome Golden Butter Custom Sweets to town. I’m excited to become part of this community and see where this journey takes us! ✂️❤️

A little reminder as we settle in: Although we celebrated our grand opening, Golden Butter is an appointment-only, made-to-order business. We aren’t a traditional walk-in bakery with ready-made goods on display. Everything is created to order, and if you’d like to come by for a consultation or discuss a custom order, you can reach out by email to schedule an appointment!

Last weekend at the Montclair Flea Market, we brought the produce… just maybe not the kind you were expecting.

Missed us? We’ll be at Cranford Fall Fest from 11-5 this Sunday (10/4) with more treats, including some familiar faces from our produce stand, and of course other yummy treats 🍪

Just a casual reminder that we make really good desserts for weddings, bridal showers, birthdays, events, and pretty much any excuse you can come up with to order dessert.

We also promise your box will be handled with considerably more care than the box in this video.

Your goodies will be decorated, packaged, and handled with love. We do not, in fact, launch the box at your head…we have standards.

It’s finally happening — Golden Butter’s Grand Opening! ✨🧈

I’m so excited to officially open the doors to my very first business, and honestly, it’s hard to put into words what this moment means to me. What started as an idea, a lot of late nights, and a whole lot of hard work has turned into a real space where I get to grow Golden Butter and continue doing what I love 💛 I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported me, believed in me, ordered from me, shared my work, or simply cheered me on along the way. I truly wouldn’t be here without you!

So come celebrate with us! Our Grand Opening celebration is free to attend and will have local vendors, raffles, giveaways, and of course, lots of Golden Butter goodness! I’d love nothing more than to celebrate this milestone surrounded by the people who have helped make it possible.
